About

With a career spanning over four decades, I bring a unique blend of experience in leadership, team dynamics, and executive coaching. The first half of my career focused on organizational and leadership development, where I created and implemented programs to enhance leadership and team performance across entire enterprises.

A pivotal moment in my career occurred while working with the Global Managing Directors of the Portfolio Group at Bain Capital. At one point, one of them said, “Why aren’t we using Anthony to coach some of the CEOs and executive teams in our portfolio companies?” This ah-ha moment transitioned my focus from organizational and leadership development to individual executive coaching. It allowed me to work closely with executives to unlock their full potential.

Although I still work with executives at large companies, my primary focus is on founder-led companies in the “Tough Tech” sector. Within this sector, I serve on the advisory boards of six companies, contributing my expertise to help drive leadership effectiveness and growth. My approach involves coaching each leadership team member individually, which enhances the team's overall performance.

What sets me apart is my extensive background in corporate America, combined with my academic and clinical expertise. I hold a PhD in Psychology. I have taught in the Wharton Executive Education program for 18 years and have a private clinical working with low-fee clients. My unique academic background includes five degrees, ranging from Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry to French Literature and Graphic Arts and finally to Clinical Psychology. This diverse background enables me to offer a comprehensive and nuanced approach to executive coaching.

Whether you’re working in a large company or a startup founder, my goal is to make your executive team more effective by focusing on each leader's development. Let’s work together to unlock your team's full potential and drive your organization to new heights.

On a lighter note…

When asked what I do for a living, I often tell friends and family to watch Wendy Rhodes (off-screen) and Wendy Rhodes (on-screen) in Billions to get an idea of what I do in organizations.

P.S. I also like to cook.
